Job Opening: Fresno Community Outreach Specialist

The Center for Climate Protection (Center) seeks a qualified individual interested in serving as a part-time “Community Outreach Specialist” contractor to advance Community Choice Energy in the City of Fresno as part of its statewide Clean Power Exchange program.

Project Description

The purpose of the San Joaquin Valley Clean Power Exchange Project (Project) is to build awareness about and support for establishment of Community Choice Energy. The Project marries two critical issues, climate protection and social justice, and emphasizes information sharing via the Clean Power Exchange website. The Project takes place during 2016, and is an initiative of the Center for Climate Protection, a non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa.

The Center for Climate Protection is accelerating the establishment of Community Choice Energy programs in California, and in advancing best practices in doing so. We aspire to develop and support a California network of knowledgeable, dedicated, effective people who share this commitment and support each other in making it happen.
