Distributed Energy Resources
Welcome to the DER⌁Hub
The purpose of this section of the Clean Power Exchange website is to provide a central location for accessing helpful resources about integrated Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) with a special emphasis on how Community Choice agencies (CCAs) can play a significant role in their advancement. We call it the DER⌁Hub. You’ll find original content as well as curated links to resources, webinars, presentations, and reports about DER technologies and the issues they can help address. As a key part of the DER⌁Hub, the DER Projects Clearinghouse is a new and evolving database of emerging, pilot, operational, and yes, even failed DER projects and programs in California, meant to offer models, provide lessons learned, inspire ideas, and guide collaborations that may help accelerate your own DER efforts.
We want to help build a broader understanding of Distributed Energy Resources, and the unique advantages, opportunities, and challenges they present for CCAs. The following pages seek to offer DER resources to help CCAs position themselves to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Given that the DER sector is constantly and rapidly evolving, content will be added to the DER⌁Hub on a regular basis. The CPX team Welcomes your Suggestions to improve the DER⌁Hub, and to keep the project information current and valuable. Our plan is to reach out to all CCA teams for DER project and program updates periodically, however you may proactively submit them at any time accessing the New Project link here or from the DER Projects Clearinghouse page.
