Improving the energy efficiency of existing buildings will be a vital part of addressing climate change. This half-day event will focus on tools local governments can use to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions from existing residential buildings, such as climate action plans, benchmarking, time-of-sale ordinances, reach codes, and incentives. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and share ideas with staff from other jurisdictions. This free BayREN Forum is open to all.
We anticipate an attendance of 75+ professionals representing 20+ local jurisdictions, providing an excellent opportunity for networking. Pastries, fruit, coffee, and tea will be provided.
Complimentary breakfast and networking from 8:30AM-9:00AM. Forum and speakers will begin at 9:00AM.
For those unable to attend in person, a webinar option will be available; to register for the webinar, please click here.
