No Edison, no problem: Riverside County taking steps to buy its own electricity

Riverside County is testing the waters to form a Community Choice Aggregation program (CCA) that would serve its over 2 million residents and its many businesses. Early reports show that the average home would save anywhere from $50 to $55 per month on electricity provided by a CCA.
