Description

This webinar will present the recently-published paper “Community Choice Energy Expansion in California and its Relation to Investor-Owned Utility Procurement”

There are now eight operational Community Choice Agencies (CCAs) in California with about eight more on deck for service launch in the near future. What is the impact of this growth on the distribution utility’s procurement? What are the impacts of historic utility procurement on CCA procurement? How will exit fees for the departing load of CCAs be fairly allocated? These questions and more will be explored in this webinar.

– June Brashares, study co-author, will walk us through the highlights of the paper

– Neal Reardon, Regulatory Affairs Manager for Sonoma Clean Power, will help paint the larger regulatory context from a CCA perspective
